In our current version of Atmosphere, your book is analyzed by mood only for a music match. Atmosphere Enabled! is a new setting that recognizes the meta data from your book to create a more immersive reading experience.
For example: If you’re reading “Alice In Wonderland” Atmosphere will see that there is movie music from the Tim Burton film “Alice In Wonderland” and play that music timed to the right mood as you read.

Today we added notifications on the latest Atmosphere update. Hopefully the early adopters will write in and let me know what they like, what they don’t like, so we can continue to improve the app. Happy Holidays!

The Mood Analyzer!
Mood Analyzer has been approved for sale in the app store. This simple application allows you to type in any text and have it analyzed for mood. Mood Analyzer is a demonstration of our core technology used in Atmosphere, our free eReader that analyzes books for mood and plays back matching music.
Your 99¢ spent on Mood Analyzer will help pay for continued development of Atmosphere. We have lots of new features coming to Atmosphere like “Atmosphere Enabled!” a super cool music preference setting which will look at book meta data for a more targeted music experience. For example, if you’re reading Alice In Wonderland, Atmosphere will know there was an Alice In Wonderland movie and play music from that movie while you read…matching the mood of the scene with the text.

Mood Analyzer submission to the app store!
I am happy to announce that Mood Analyzer will be submitted to the app store tomorrow!
This little app is a demonstration of our core technology behind Atmosphere. Mood Analyzer gives users the opportunity to type in text or copy and paste text (like from a news story) and analyze for mood.
The app will sell for 99 cents with all proceeds going to support continued development of Atmosphere.

Tap again (Save Results is now green) to save your latest mood analysis
Tap again (Save Results is now red) to close the drawer.
At any time use two fingers to pull the drawer closed.

Here’s what the Mood Analyzer will look like. The app will analyze the mood from any text, whether you type in your own thoughts, or copy and paste something like a news story, and will tell you what the mood is. Great fun for getting to the true meaning of the text. Maybe fun for alittle self analysis too. Stay tuned. Mood Analyzer will work on iPhone, ipad and ipod touch!

The Mood Analyzer
I am excited to announce that we are working on our next app, Mood Analyzer. You’ll be able to type in your thoughts, or copy and paste any text, and the analyzer will tell you what the mood is. This app is a demonstration of our core technology behind Atmosphere. During the development of Atmosphere I used a similar link to test the accuracy of our mood analyzer processing book text. It was alot of fun pasting in Google News stories to see what the mood analyzer thought about it. The funniest result was when I pasted an entertainment news story about more shenanigans from Lindsey Lohan and the mood analyzer reported the mood as ‘Sad’.
This will be a universal Apple app, iphone, ipad, ipod touch and it should be available in the app store by November.
